Wednesday 13th of March, 2024 marked the beginning of the inaugural staff Orientation program at Hillside University of Science and Technology.

The program commenced with a warm welcome from the University Registrar, Dr. Mercy Agumadu, followed by an insightful address from the President/Vice Chancellor, Prof. Iheanyichukwu Okoro. In his presentation, Prof. Okoro emphasized the significance of this period as a time for sowing seeds at Hillside, with the promise of a bountiful harvest in the future.

The orientation provided a comprehensive overview of the University’s Mission, Vision, Collaborative efforts, and commitment to Innovative Excellence. Staff members were encouraged to give their best and to continually strive for personal and professional development.

Thursday 14th March, 2024 the second day of the Orientation programme, started with a welcome address from the University. The Orientation program provided a detailed overview of the student development system/service, the Financial efficiency at HUST and the plan to optimize it through cost reduction, the academic culture and how to understand it, a detailed explanation of the admission process and how to apply as well as the marketing strategies of HUST.

Comments from faculty and staff after the orientation brought to the fore, that the training was indeed very educative, and inspirational and all pledged to work hard and provide efficient and effective results at HUST.
