Prof. Iheanyichukwu Okoro

Iheanyichukwu had his medical education at the University of Ibadan and graduated in 1979. After the Housemanship and NYSC, he proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital for his residency training in General Surgery. This finished in 1987 and he was appointed Lecturer 1/Consultant for ABU Zaria in January 1988. Iheanyi has had teaching appointment in four universities namely:

• Ahmadu Bello University / Teaching Hospital Zaria
• Abia State University Uturu/ Teaching Hospital Aba.
• Imo State University Owerri /Teaching Hospital Orlu

Babcock University /Teaching Hospital, Ilishan Remo. He was appointed the Pioneer Coordinator, the School of Medicine IMSU in September 1999. When the School system was abolished by the university, he was appointed Head of Anatomy Department and Deputy Dean College of Medicine. He was also the Director of the Institute of Neuroscience and Biomedical Research (INBR), Imo State University, Owerri , 2002 -2010.

In 2010 he moved to Babcock University as the Founding Provost, College of Health and Medical Sciences. In 2011 he was elected the Senior Vice President/Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University. He held both positions till 2020. Iheanyichukwu Okoro is a Fellow of the Nigerian Postgraduate Medical College in Surgery (FMCS), West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), International College of Surgeons (FICS), and holds a Certificate in Medical Neuroscience from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, USA. He is a Professor of Anatomy and Surgery. He has published extensively in local and international journals. He is happily married to Professor to Clara Okoro and the union is blessed with four adult children, two of whom are in the Health Profession

Prof. Bolaji Omitola

Prof. Bolaji Omitola, is a professor of political science and public administration. He has held many administrative positions in the university system. He has served previously as internal member of Council, Provost, Dean, Head of Department, Director, Entrepreneurial Studies and Acting Dean, Students’ Affairs, all in Osun State University, Osogbo, Nigeria.
Prof. Omitola attended University of Lagos, Lagos from 1987 to 1991 for his undergraduate education programme and University of Ibadan, Ibadan for his postgraduate programmes between 1993 and 2008. He obtained Bachelor of Science, Political Science (with Second Class Upper Division) in the year 1991; Masters in Political Science (with Specialisation in Public Administration) in 1994 and PhD in Political Science in 2008.

Prof. Omitola started his teaching career in The Polytechnic, Ibadan in 1994 as an Associate Lecturer in General Studies. He later joined the service of Olabisi Onabanjo University in 1996 as Assistant lecturer in the Department of Political Science in 1996. In the year, 2010, he joined the service of Osun State University and became the Acting Head of Department of Political Science in April of the year 2010. Prof. Omitola lectures and conducts research in the following areas: political institution, comparative politics and public administration. This is reflected in his research that have interrogated issues like Nigerian federalism, party system and political parties conflicts, ethnicity, ethno -regional agitations, religious fundamentalism, resource distribution, terror and security. He is involved in various committees assignment within the university.

He has published in local and international journals and peer reviewed books. Prof. Omitola has been awarded scholarship, fellowship and grants from the following organizations: African Political Science Association: Small Research Grant, 2001, laureate Methodology Workshop, 2001 and Travelling Grant, 2004; African Studies Association of United Kingdom Traveling Fellowship, 2011; Institute of Security Studies (ISS), South Africa to participate in the ISS Conference on National and International Perspective on Crime Reduction and Criminal Justice in Johannesburg: 2012, 2013, 2014; African Institute of South Africa (AISA) to participate in the Annual African Unity for Renaissance Conference and Africa Day Expo: 2014, 2015, 2017, Tetfund Travel Grant, 2014 and Tetfund Research Grant from the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 2016 and Leadership Excellence Institute Zeppelin University, Friendrichsafen, Germany, to participate as Workshop Leader and Panelist at the Transcultural leadership Summit 2017: Learning about Sub -Sahara Africa, Zeppelin University, Friendrichsafen, Germany, 17th – 18th November, 2017. 

Prof. Omitola currently serves as External Examiner to various universities within and outside Nigeria. Prof. Omitola is happily married with children

Dr. Mercy Agumadu, FIPMA, FCIA, ELMP, MANUPA, MAMN

Dr Mercy is a Chartered and Professional Administrator, a Seasoned Gender and Decision Making expert, a Transformational speaker and a Management Consultant. Her Academic journey began with a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, she proceeded to Lagos State University for her Masters Degree in Business Administration (International Business) and a PhD in Business Administration from Covenant University.

Dr. Mercy has established herself as a globally renowned gender and decision-making expert with experience in process improvement, problem-solving, capacity development, strategic management, students engagement policies and competency training with a focus on issues around entrepreneurial subjects.

Her experience spans over 12 year of professionalism across reputable and high impact educational institutions such as Covenant University, Chrisland University, British Canadian University, Edustart Global amongst others, where she headed several administrative positions as an assistant Registrar, a Principal Assistant registrar, Acting head of Academic affairs, Acting registrar and Registrar. This experience and expertise has led to;

1. Development of a standard operating procedure for students engagement, leadership and career development
2. Process identification manual for curating ideas of young and aspiring entrepreneurs
3. A quick guide to competency training especially as it relates to stategic competency, opportunity competency and relationship competency
4. Development of an SME performance model and how it best serves SDGs 1,2,4,5,8,9 and 12 with women entrepreneurs as a major focus

This body of knowledge has also enabled her serve in the capacity of an adjunct lecturer in a reputable private university in Nigeria where she teaches Entrepreneurship, Marketing Research, Marketing Management and Corporate planning.

Dr. Mercy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administration, a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators, a certified Executive Leadership and Management Professional, a member, Association of Nigerian university professional Administrators among others

Prof. Olusola Bamidele Bamigboye

Prof. Bamigboye, Olusola Bamidele is a Deputy University Librarian and Head, Readers’ Services Department of ‘Nimbe Adedipe Library. He is also a lecturer in the Department of Communication and General Studies, College of Agricultural Management and Rural Development (COLMARUD) Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

He holds a Certificate in Computer Appreciation, a Bachelor of Education in Language Arts, a Masters in Library and Information Studies, and a Ph.D from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. His research interests are Electronic Media Resources, Information and Library Management.

Prof. Bamigboye has been privileged to work in all units, sections, and Departments in the university library. He is a member of many Departmental and University committees. Prof. Bamigboye lectures and supervises postgraduate students at the Department of Communication and General Studies, Library and Information Studies Unit. He won a Conference Attendance Grant in 2013, from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund). He has published in both national and international journals and is a reviewer for many local and international journals. He had also attended many local and international trainings, workshops, and conferences where papers were presented.

Prof. Bamigboye is a member of many academic and professional bodies, some of which are the Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN), the Nigerian Library Association (NLA), the Nigerian School Library Association (NSLA) and the Association of Applied Information Management Professionals (AIMP). He is currently Alumni President of the Department of School Library and Media Technology, University of Ibadan, Ibadan. He is happily married with children
