Schools & Departments

1. Department of Agribusiness

Admission Requirements:

UTME: In addition to acceptable scores in the UTME, candidates must possess five (5) Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE – NECO, WAEC, GCE) – credits passes including English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science, and any other two (2) subjects from Chemistry, Physics or Geography and Economics in not more than two (2) sittings.

Direct Entry: Candidate must have 2 credits in Chemistry and Biology in Advance Level, IJMB or JUPEB plus five (5) credits in SSCE (or its equivalent) as prescribed for UTME entry mode. Diploma holders with a minimum of UPPER CREDIT are eligible to apply.

 

2. Department of Agricultural Economics

Admission Requirements:

UTME: In addition to acceptable scores in the UTME, candidates must possess five (5) Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE – NECO, WAEC, GCE) – credits passes including English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science, and any other two (2) subjects from Chemistry, Physics or Geography and Economics in not more than two (2) sittings.

Direct Entry: Candidate must have 2 credits in Chemistry and Biology in Advance Level, IJMB or JUPEB plus five (5) credits in SSCE (or its equivalent) as prescribed for UTME entry mode. Diploma holders with a minimum of UPPER CREDIT are eligible to apply.

1. Department of Microbiology

Admission Requirements:

UTME: In addition to acceptable scores in the UTME, candidates must possess five (5) Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE – NECO, WAEC, GCE) – credits passes including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not more than two (2) sittings.

Direct Entry: Candidate must have 2 A’ Level passes in two (2) relevant subjects including Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics and Physics in GCE, IJMB or JUPEB.

 

2. Department of Forensic Sciences

Admission Requirements:

UTME: In addition to acceptable scores in the UTME, candidates must possess five (5) Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE – NECO, WAEC, GCE) – credits passes including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not more than two (2) sittings.

Direct Entry: Candidate must have 2 A’ Level passes in two (2) relevant subjects including Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics and Physics in GCE, IJMB or JUPEB.

 

3. Department of Environmental Management & Toxicology

Admission Requirements:

UTME: In addition to acceptable scores in the UTME, candidates must possess five (5) Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE – NECO, WAEC, GCE) – credits passes including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Agricultural Science in not more than two (2) sittings.

Direct Entry: OND/NCE holders must have a minimum grade of UPPER CREDIT or HND in relevant discipline with a minimum of LOWER CREDIT. Candidate must have 2 passes (graded A-E) including Biology, and any of these subjects – Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics and Physics in Advance Level, IJMB or JUPEB.

 

4. Department of Petroleum Chemistry

Admission Requirements:

UTME: In addition to acceptable scores in the UTME, candidates must possess five (5) Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE – NECO, WAEC, GCE) – credits passes including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not more than two (2) sittings.

Direct Entry: Candidate must have 2 A’Level passes in two (2) relevant subjects including Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics and Physics in GCE, IJMB or JUPEB.
